For many people, having a vegetable garden is a wonderful thing. The work is enjoyable and relaxing, the harvest is fresh and incredibly healthy, and you work closely with nature. Growing in a greenhouse is the same, but it's more comfortable and typically easier than outdoors. Plus, the growing season is longer, and the possibilities are considerably greater!

Longer growing season

First of all, in the greenhouse it's warmer than outside due to the sunlight exposure, the absence of wind, and the use of a screen cloth in the winter. This means that the ground is warmer in the spring and autumn than outside, which means you can harvest earlier and longer kunt oogsten in your vegetable garden. If you plan well and choose the right crops, you can even harvest from your vegetable garden in winter. In short, at MOES Tuinen you can enjoy your vegetable garden all year round. Convenient and completely sustainable!

Exotic crops

Since it's in the greenhouse naturally warmer compared to outdoors, at MOES Tuinen, it's possible to grow more exotic and Mediterranean crops. For example: Surinamese and Asian vegetables like long beans, sopropo, eggplant, peppers, and antroewa, as well as Mediterranean fruits like grapes, peaches, and nectarines. These products can be expensive in stores, but by growing them yourself at MOES Tuinen, you can save money and the environment!

Healthy and sustainable

Growing at MOES Tuinen is sustainable and healthy. And it tastes even better! The greenhouses are only naturally heated, so we don't use gas or other fossil fuels. Electricity comes from our own solar panels. Water for the gardens comes from our rainwater silo and is collected through the gutters of our greenhouses. We only use organiccrop protection, such as natural enemies against aphids, for example, to maintain an ecological balance in the greenhouses. The use of chemicals and fertilizers is not permitted; we only work with organic fertilizers.

Social learning

How much fun is it to share learning (and perhaps even some of the harvest) with each other? At MOES Tuinen, you'll be surrounded by other vegetable gardeners. So there's plenty of opportunity to learn from each other leren or just to meet nice new people with a shared interest and passion for vegetable gardening.
